Four First and Two Recalculated Orbits for Binaries
In this paper, we analyze new orbital elements, and quantities that canbe derived from them, for six binaries. For four of them, WDS 00251+4803= HDS 56, WDS 01071-0036 = HDS 144 AB, WDS 06426+3955 = HDS 930, and WDS21014+4037 = HDS 2995, the orbital elements are calculated for the firsttime. For the other two, WDS 04195+3800 = HDS 552 and WDS 23209+1643 =HEI 88, the orbital elements are recalculated. Five binaries, denoted asHDS, were discovered during the Hipparcos mission while the remainingbinary was discovered somewhat earlier. HEI 88 was measured for thefirst time in 1978. All studied pairs are close, with almost allmeasured separations less than 0.3 arcsec. For these binaries theobservations were usually performed using the speckle-interferometrictechnique with the exception of HEI 88, which was observed visually oneight occasions. The resulting orbital periods fall within 13 and 69years. In addition to the orbital elements, we also give (O-C) residualsin ? and ?, masses, dynamical parallaxes, absolutemagnitudes, spectral types, and ephemerides for the next five years.

Speckle interferometry of nearby multiple stars. IV. Measurements in 2004 and new orbits
The results of speckle interferometric observations of 104 binary and 6triple stars performed at the BTA 6 m telescope in 2004 October arepresented. Nearby low-mass stars are mostly observed for the program, among which 59 there are new binaries recently discovered by theHipparcos astrometric satellite. Concurrently with thediffraction-limited position measurements we obtained 154 brightnessratio measurements of binary and multiple star components in differentbands of the visible spectrum. New, first-resolved binaries are thesymbiotic star CH Cyg with a weak companion at 0.043″ separationand the pair of red dwarfs, GJ 913 = HIP 118212. In addition, we derivedthe orbital parameters for two interferometric systems: the CN-giantpair HD 210211 = HIP 109281 (P = 10.7 yr) and the G2V-K2V G2V-K2V binaryGJ 9830 = HIP 116259 (P = 15.7 yr).
